We don't mean have you ever been hungry because you were fasting or trying to lose a few pounds. But were you ever hungry because you had no other choice? Have your children been hungry, and you did not know what to do? This is the situation for many people in the world today including people in Wabash County.
FISH was formed in order to feed hungry people. There are only two requirements for you to obtain food:

1. You need to be hungry.

2. You need to be in Wabash County
Our pantry is located in the basement of what is called the
Women's Club House. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM except on holidays.
You are welcome to get food from FISH for you and your family.
1. If possible, call the FISH office a day before you need the food to tell the volunteers what you need. It will be ready for you to pick up during office hours.
2. If that is not possible, call the morning you need food and leave a message on the answering machine. Your call will be returned.
3. If you are unable to call, stop in at the FISH office to get food.
You are asked to phone ahead so the volunteers will have your food ready so you do not have to wait for it to be bagged.
NOTE: If the schools are closed due to bad weather, the FISH office will also be closed.
